GR with cold dark matter is the established cosmological comparison baseline.
Key knowledge
GR with cold dark matter is the established cosmological comparison baseline. MOND's galaxy-scale phenomenology alone supplies no relativistic CMB prediction. The Skordis–Złośnik model supplies additional fields and reproduces selected Planck CMB and SDSS linear spectra with extra parameters, while its cited cluster tests and nonlinear structure-formation connection remain separate questions.
Conditions and scope
- Prioritize the baseline for established joint comparisons, retain this relativistic alternative as proposed, and compare the same data/priors rather than assign a universal theory score.
- Its quadratic stability conditions are parameter/background dependent; a successful selected linear fit neither identifies a dark particle nor establishes full nonlinear or local-test viability.
