A constant Λ is the minimal GR acceleration baseline; dynamical fields require additional assumptions and parameters.
Key knowledge
A constant Λ is the minimal GR acceleration baseline; dynamical fields require additional assumptions and parameters. In the inspected Galileon comparison, variants that fit selected CMB/BAO data can fail independent integrated-Sachs–Wolfe or GW170817 propagation constraints. Models meeting the GW-speed restriction still require their own growth, stability and local-gravity tests.
Conditions and scope
- This evidence-conditioned ordering applies to the specific actions, datasets and assumed propagation regime, with intrinsic emission-delay assumptions; it does not rule out every modified-gravity theory.
- A phenomenological expansion fit is not a complete stable field theory. Keep current dataset-dependent acceleration preferences and physical identity separately unresolved.
