A migration inventory must identify long-lived confidential data, key establishment versus signatures, protocol/certificate formats and parameter/revision dependencies.
Key knowledge
A migration inventory must identify long-lived confidential data, key establishment versus signatures, protocol/certificate formats and parameter/revision dependencies. Combining a classical and post-quantum KEM does not automatically inherit either component's CCA proof; the combiner, key derivation and authentication need their own argument. Algorithm conformance, side-channel tests and protocol interoperability complement rather than replace the security experiment and hardness assumptions.
Conditions and scope
- This is a reference method, not an instruction to deploy a primitive without a threat and compatibility review.
- Use dated primary standards and correction notices; preserve algorithm agility without unauthenticated downgrade paths.

Evidence and review
Author checked this English statement, displayed equation where present and stated hypotheses against these source locations: §§3.2–3.3 IND-CCA2/failure model and implementation constraints; §§7–8 parameters, Tables 1–3; Final FIPS 203/204/205 and ongoing Falcon/HQC standardization. The check is bounded to the recorded claims; no complete proof reconstruction, software proof replay or universal literature completeness is claimed.
